Black Bottom Reparations

The goals of the Black Bottom Community Commemorative and Celebratory Project (BB3CP) are to support and raise awareness, revitalize and promote the economic redevelopment of the once vibrant Black Bottom, especially among longtime residents and new arrivals. To achieve the goals, the BB3CP is developing a self-guided mobile digital walking tour of the Black Bottom neighborhood, accessible and freely available always, to anyone with a cell phone or mobile device. The purpose of the efforts is to encourage development of contemporary street life, and tourism while supporting African American community involvement in economic development and cultural celebration.
